Set among the rolling hills of Hobart Village, Magnolia’s at Hobart is a thoughtfully restored 150-year-old timber-frame barn surrounded by open fields, wildflowers, towering old maple trees, and wide, uninterrupted skies. The landscape feels expansive, yet the property has a warmth and intimacy that makes you feel tucked away from everything else. Inside the barn, the original timber frame is the heart of the space. Massive beams, weathered wood, old marks, knots, uneven edges, and the little imperfections that come with 150 years of history have been carefully preserved. We love those details. They’re what give the barn its character and remind you that this is a place with a story long before yours begins.
Magnolia’s at Hobart began with a dream shared by husband and wife, Maggie and Vince. What started as a vision for this beautiful piece of land slowly became a labor of love .. restoring the historic barn, preserving its character, and creating a place they could eventually share with others. The name is personal, too. “Magnolia” is the name Vince has always called Maggie, a nickname that became the heart of what they were creating together. “At Hobart” is a nod to the village where their property and the barn have always belonged.
At Magnolia’s at Hobart, we believe your wedding should feel like your own. There are no required vendors or predetermined vision to follow. We love getting to know our couples, being involved in the process, and helping bring their ideas and dreams to life.
